Myths about hair growth was developed in a society without clear origins. For some women, this myth has even become a credible justification. But, is it true that a myth?

Each strand of hair usually survive 2-5 years with a three-phase growth. The first phase lasts longest up to four years, where hair grows along the 0.5-inch every month through the nutrients into the follicle. The second phase is a transitional period of new hair growth because long hair is no longer a supply of nutrients. This phase lasts about 2-3 weeks.
